Ryker Scott

Executive Chef

After graduating high school at the age of 17, Ryker Scott was curious about which direction to take his life. After touring different colleges and weighing his options, he discovered Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta and began to learn the craft of fine cuisine.

The youngest in his graduating class, Ryker began his career at Darden’s top tier steakhouse, The Capital Grille. After several years of opening locations and training staff with Darden, he worked as a lead cook at Flemmings Prime in Orlando. He then moved back to his hometown of Gainesville, FL, where he worked under Chef Valero Alises as a Sous Chef of Gainesville’s top restaurant, Sabore. With Chef Valero as a mentor, Ryker staged several restaurants, including the One Michelin Starred restaurant, Faro in New York City. At Faro, he honed his craft of handmade pastas and artisan breads.

Ryker is excited to embark on the next chapter in his career at The Falls Restaurant where he looks forward to putting his years of experience and creativity to work in Athens, GA.
